Background

The article was about two mushroom foragers finding tons of a specific mushrooms that could sell for over a thousand each. Instead of selling, the foragers used the mushrooms in different ways, such as food dishes and mushroom salt.

Sketches

Sketch 1: The foragers putting the mushrooms in a bag and at the bottom of the bag, there's a hole. The mushrooms fall and it transitions to how the mushrooms were used.
Sketch 2: The foragers finding the mushrooms and the mushrooms are growing
Sketch 3: A treasure chest with the mushrooms flying out

Final

I chose sketch 1 because I felt it encapsulated the article the most while also being the most fun to work on. I rendered the mushrooms gold because of how valuable and bright yellow they were.
