Background

Group project where each group was to create an event of an issue and have advertisements. My group chose to tackle the issue surrounding food labels. The event we came up with was a grocery truck that delivered food with transparent food labels to college campuses in Los Angeles.

Moodboard

We compiled references and took inspiration from pop art since the issue was related to commercial products.

Sketches

Sketch 1: Food bursting out with an explosion

Finals

I chose the finalize sketch 1 and 3 because my instructor suggested to not show the truck as much as possible. Sketch 1 focuses on the food, which was the point of the made-up event and sketch 3 shows the end of the truck and it gives hint to the viewer. I used a comic book font and bright colors to make the event seem exciting.
